About Me
Welcome!
Finding the right therapist is an important step, and I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me and my background. My journey into this work began in my thirties, when I found my first therapist and experienced firsthand the powerful impact of therapy. That experience inspired me to help others to navigate life’s challenges, improve their relationships, and support them on their paths to healing and self-discovery.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years in corporate America and later devoted nearly two decades to being a stay-at-home mom. As my two oldest children were entering high school, I followed my passion and enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Rollins College and am now a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. In addition to running my own private practice, I also manage The Well House Therapy Collective with two business partners.
My passion and focus is on working with couples and adults (18+) facing a variety of challenges, including relationship issues, family conflict, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and connection. I work collaboratively with clients to explore what’s troubling them in the present, understand how the past may be influencing them, and move toward the future they hope to create.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change. I strive to provide a safe and supportive space where both individuals and couples can gain insight, connect with their emotions, uncover strengths, build self-compassion, and develop practical tools for growth. Through our work together, clients learn to use these internal resources to heal, create more fulfilling relationships, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
I’m married and live with my spouse and the youngest of our five children. Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, game nights, dining out, traveling, taking walks with our dog Ellie, watching movies and TV, and occasionally dabbling in crochet.
